'Funding the Cure'

Prompted by the diagnosis of one of our members with Parkinson's ,'Funding The Cure' was set up by a group of ladies in order to raise funds for research into Parkinson's disease.. We are a committee of seven dedicated individuals ,all with extensive previous experience in charity fundraising . Our aim is to raise funds for specific research projects aimed at finding a cure for Parkinson's , which is a progressive and degenerative neurological disorder , for which there is ,as yet, no cure.

'Funding the Cure 'is under the umbrella of Parkinson's UK ( which is the largest charity funder of research into Parkinson's in the UK.)
We are currently raising funds for the Parkinson's Uk Brain Bank at Imperial College London which provides much needed brain tissue to both Uk and international Parkinson's researchers .
